Mr. Daniel Colombini is a licensed Professional Engineer and the Director of Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering for GOCO. His experience includes more than 11 years of design and project management for diverse projects including new construction, additions, and renovations of office buildings, primary and secondary schools, university systems, healthcare facilities, laboratories, and performing arts centers. He has deep rooted experience in all aspects of plumbing and fire protection design, including fire protection systems, fire sprinkler, fire alarm, smoke control, fire code analysis, fire dynamics, egress systems, fire modeling and building code consultation. During his years in the field, he has developed creative fire protection and sustainable design solutions for major NYC properties (NYU facilities, Battery Park City) and some of the City’s most iconic, historic buildings (Empire State Building, United Nations). His experience in both the private and public sectors, gives him the knowledge of a wide variety of codes and standards and how they are applied to the design of these systems.
