Founding Sponsor Associated Builders & Owners of Greater NY (ABO) Renews Contract with BuildingsNY Event

(New York, NY Dec. 12) – The Associated Builders & Owners of Greater New York (ABO) has renewed its long-term, founding sponsor agreement with BuildingsNY, an annual event serving the small to mid-sized the New York metropolitan buildings and real estate marketplace, being held May 2-3, 2012 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

The ABO's legacy of support for BuildingsNY has helped the event to grow and better serve the product sourcing and educational needs of the metro NY building and real estate marketplace. ABO will continue in its current capacity by providing educational support to the conference program. In addition, ABO offers insights and context to build the event for the small and midsized building owner. These include ways of improving profits; keeping up with city, state and federal codes; landlord-tenant concerns and issues and finding new vendors for open projects. BuildingsNY offers an ideal annual gathering place and platform for its members and NY City building owners and managers to network, find new partners and conduct business.

Since 1910, the ABO has worked to promote the housing industry through education, advocacy, and setting professional standards. It is the Manhattan chapter of the National Association of Home Builders. As sponsors, ABO brings more owners, managers, and suppliers together at BuildingsNY in one day while hosting key industry luncheons, seminars, and meetings throughout the year where industry rofessionals continue to meet, learn, and profit.
