2019 Call for Presentations

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for consideration for BuildingsNY 2019. This form outlines the information required to evaluate your submission appropriately.

Benefits and Expectations from Speakers

Education content MUST BE commercial free and vendor neutral. Under no circumstances may speakers promote their company or product in the Education Program. Speakers who fail to comply will not be invited back to speak, and will not have their decks published on the BuildingsNY website.

Participating in the Education Program at BuildingsNY as a speaker allows you to:

  • Enhance the knowledge and skills of your industry peers
  • Gain professional and personal recognition as a subject matter expert
  • Enhance the name recognition of your company
  • Receive a complimentary speaker pass to BuildingsNY 2019

All Speakers Participate on a Voluntary Basis – Education sessions are a platform for innovation.

 Proposed Session Format

Lecture: Single or co-presenters with a lecture-style presentations allowing for Q&A.

Panel Session: A small group of presenters representing a spectrum of views, allowing for Q&A. Note: Priority is given to panels in which various-even competing opinions or issues will be explored and which includes the perspective of at least one end-user. (4 presenters for a panel presentations 1 Moderator and 3 Panelists.)
