September 27, 2018

NORWALK, Conn. (September 27, 2018) – BuildingsNY, New York City’s leading event for buildings professionals, is pleased to announce it has renewed its three-year sponsorship agreement with founding and long-time sponsor, The Associated Builders & Owners of Greater New York (ABO) and The Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP), a trade association representing more than 2,500 apartment-building owners in New York City's five boroughs. ABO and CHIP will continue to provide key technical educational programming on relevant and timely industry topics, as well as overall professional development for BuildingsNY.

The annual BuildingsNY event will be held April 2-3, 2019 at the Javits Center in New York, NY and will bring together more than 5,550 building professionals and over 300 exhibitors. In addition to overall event sponsorship and support, ABO and CHIP will leverage their expertise to help promote the Show, increase brand awareness and implement new relationships for BuildingsNY.

“We’re proud yet again this year to be the Founding Sponsor of BuildingsNY and help arm you with the knowledge and tools you need to profit no matter what happens,” Dan Margulies, executive director of Associated Builders and Owners commented. “Together with CHIP and other participating organizations, we will work to enhance the BuildingsNY education program for 2019 with more informative, useful content for attendees than ever before.”

“CHIP is excited to continue as the Prime Sponsor of this year’s show and to be part of the largest trade show in our industry,” Patrick Siconolfi, executive director of CHIP commented. “We have always been about ‘owners helping owners,’ and the Show is really about ‘the industry helping the industry’—owners, managers, developers and our vendors working together to spread knowledge and opportunities.”

The legacy of support of ABO and enhanced relationship with the addition of CHIP as a Prime Sponsor will position the BuildingsNY event to grow and better serve the needs of the building professionals in New York City and the surrounding areas with top-notch education opportunities and industry leading suppliers.
